Re: MRT Catted H-pipe Installation Tips
Meditate long and hard before trying to fit your arm up along the stock exhaust to disconnect the front O2 sensors. If you are lucky your arm will come back intact.

Where is the leak? Was it an install problem or something else?

Re: MRT Catted H-pipe Installation Tips
It is a true leak.
The leak is at the junction of the passenger side exhaust manifold flange and the gasketed H-Pipe interface. My car is actually at the shop right now, and the mechanic looked at the pipe and agrees with my diagnosis that the flange ON THE H-PIPE is not welded on at the correct angle, resulting in the leak. I had tried different gaskets, had the pipe on and off the car 5 times, and still it wouldn't seal up. My pipe also had a TON of slag in the O2 sensor bungs. Anyway, this is NOT a common problem (in fact I have never heard of anyone else with the issue) normally the MRT products are second to none in quality. Now I just have to figure out how to get a refund from these guys. I installed the pipe just before winter, and of course now 7 months later, I am going to tell them I have an fitment issue... don't think that is going to fly very well, but we will see. Originally ordered from NinoSport, and Nino has been nothing but HELPFUL throughout my ordeal. ~Rod
