Re: Anyone else having bad rubbing issues with 315s (gy eagle f1s) and h&r ss springs??

Screaming04: I'll think about those bags, thanks for the suggestion!

Vffr1: Shouldn't it be shaved the same on both sides?? And CA is a little far from me, I'm in Canada

STG: Thanks, genius

DeutschMach: are you running 285's on a 10.5" wheel? If so, any pictures?

Thanks,
Chris

Since it only rubs on one side, I using this technique to even out how the wheels fit under the wheel wells.

Wheel Techniques has a hugh international following. You guys have UPS right?

UPS will KILL me on border fees, that's the main problem. They're not too friendly with us canucks...

I am running the afs 18x10 rears with nitto drag 315x35x18 I also am running the h & r srings but I use the maximum motorsports adj lower control arms that let me adj the rear up a little maybe a 1/2 inch no rub broblem even when I had a fat kid in the back seat.

Re: Anyone else having bad rubbing issues with 315s (gy eagle f1s) and h&r ss springs??

so im confused. there are guys running 17x10.5 with 315s out back who are having trouble rubbing. daddy rob is running H&Rs with 18'' wheels with 315s, and he doesnt rub.

I'm very curious because I'm about to get 18x10's in the rear of mine also, and I run H&R's. The wheels that I'm looking at getting already have 315s, which I figured would almost certainly rub. I was hoping I could safely run a 295 or so without worrying much.

Daddy rob is said that he has adjustable LCA's (he can jack the back end up to prevent rubbing) Alot depends on the brand of tire. The goodyear GS-D3's are quite a bit wider than some other brands in the same size. I'd stay away from the goodyears unless you have adjustable LCA's.

PS:A 295 would be fine... my 315's are about 1/4 inch too wide

Screaming04 thanks for the info - this is a little off subject, but would you care to PM me a couple of pictures of your car? Just want to see a SY with the black bullitts.
