Lightbulb How much is it worth?

I was putting my Lakewood 90/10 struts and 50/50 shocks on my car this weekend at my buddies shop and we started talking about when were going to put in my 4.30 gears. Then he said that he was selling his whole rear end because he is putting in a 9inch that he has. So I think that I'm just going to buy that. He has an Eaton Locker with 4.30's and 31 spline axles, with only 8 passes on it. I was wondering if anybody had a clue of what my stock 8.8 with 15k miles would be worth since I wont be needing it anymore (a little less bitching form the signifigant other if I get back some money as well). Anybody care to guess?

p.s.
Never really had a reason to post this pic.

He was a 10sec car but I'm a bracket racer. I killed him on the tree(.00x vs .2xx) so it wasn't much of a race after the light.

If youre trying to sell your rear there is a guy in Des Moines who might be interested...Check out midweststangs.com and look for X2CSTANG...but then you're kinda far away from Des Moines...

Thanks alot, I am going to try that right now. But it looks like he might have already made a deal, but it's worth a shot. Thanks again.

Re: How much is it worth?

that might be me. I was going to swap with him but had second thoughts about the swap and ended up decideing that i didn't want an IRS. He's a straight up guy though, it wasn't a bussiness thing.
