stingers with some badass mid-pipe? - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

i am planing on getting the borla stinger cat back, what would be a good mid pipe for a prety loud and deep sound? i wanna be heard form 3 blocks away when i am coming down a street. thanx

I have heard them with both the Bassani X-pipe and the MRT 2 1/2 H-pipe. The stingers sound mean with both. Both systems sounded pretty loud and were with catted mid-pipes. Of course if you want even louder, then a catless mid-pipe will give you that. I have not driven or rode in either of those but from the outside (standing next to and having them drive by) they doth sounded great and were loud but not too loud. You could hear em a good distance away.

my dad and i have straight pipes on our 66' stang. Pretty **** loud and with it being cammed she really wakes up the dead @ WOT. My uncle said he could hear us and we were about mile and a half away! Trust me it screams

bassani x-pipes,they sound real nice,they also give you cats and straight pipes to switch over! i also have the borla catback(140067)

Just installed my stingers on last weekend, this coming weekend, im throwing a catted prochamber on it, will let you know how it comes out.

If you can go with an off road pipe go with the DR. GAS x pipe. No other pipe sounds quite like it.

The new stainless Prochamber and Stingers. They are one of the best power combos out there. Plenty of opinons and reviews of this proven combo over at SVT forums. They are supposed to sound awesome too. This is the mid pipe I'm going to add to my Mach.

Added the prochamber to my stingers and just amazing power. Amazinggggggg. Sounds good too. Just finished it up this evening so ill try to get some clips up soon, as well as high way drone and the what not. but so far its recommended

Are you sure that prochamber come in stainless for the Mach 1? I believe the stainless version is produced for the '05 only. If I am incorrect, please post up a website with the stainless version for our machs.

Where in the powerband do you feel the increase in power? Also, how annoying was the highway drone, if any? Lastly, is it the catted version?

At first I only saw a catted version on the link in that thread, but I e-mailed Mac and they pointed me to the right page. Look for NEW products and I think it was listed about half way down.

Dank, here's a big comp orange thumbs up for setting me straight and pointing me in the right direction. :ORANGE: Thank you. I don't know how I missed that thread. I never purchased a mid pipe to compliment my stingers hoping that Mac would eventually produce a stainless steel version of their prochamber. I'll take mine in the catted version to satisfy my "keeping the earth green for future generations mentality", eardrums and the friendly and always appreciated local constabulary.
