Was married 21 years. Have a great daughter from the marriage. I filed and have been divorced 2 years. I think I would have liked to have worked it out, but it takes two to tango.
Divorce is an ugly thing. I will pay for this for the rest of my life. On the bright side, my life is considerably less stressful.
I have only been married once. I think it must be wonderful to find someone that you really connect with on a lot of levels. Myabe someday that person will come along and I might be talked into trying it again.
If not, well there is the nice redhead parked in the garage.

My Grandmother gave me the best advice anyone ever could have offered. She always told me never to even consider getting married till you were about 30. Which is about when I did get hitched 13 yrs, never had a serious fight.

All i got to say is, make sure you guys date for a long time and know what your getting into before you get married. Please for gods sake, dont get married 1 year into your relationship. Many dont look at the big picture, oh marraige is soooo great, it will be sooo wonderful, kids will be soooo fun to have.. yada yada yada. Then find out you have married into a disaster.... My wife is a b***h, I have a outregeous mortgage payment, credit card debt, my kids are running over me, poopy diapers, I lost my job..yada yada yada.. Its alot of work keeping it together guys/gals. It takes two to tango people.

Met my wife for the first time in 1987, we had a few not so nice words to say to each other at that time. I was 16 she was 20. In 1989 I being a little older and more interested in women and her not remembering those first words... we started dating. Got engaged in 1993 married in 1995 and this Oct will be 11 years of marriage. 2 sons 8 & 3. We get along great, with very few arguements. She's great, 5 years older then me. But you wouldn't know it. I love her and my 2 boys.

It will be 14 years in Dec for me and the Ms. Have had our problems but have always worked them out. Communications is a big key in that. Now it has been just over 3 years with Daisy (the Mach) and the Ms and her get a long great. I am very lucky that they do. Would be hating life if they did not. LOL

spent years and years of time and energy to make marriage work. I pray
for those who weren't able to make marriage work. The key I think is
aligning yourself with what you believe His plan and will is for you and
praying for the power to carry that out. If I didn't, then I probably would have been "carried out (in a stretcher)" by now, if you know what I mean!
