Modular VS Pushrod Match race.
This sunday at the Ford power Festival ( Moroso Raceway).
Jeremy Martorella's Bill Glidden powered/ UPR sponsored FFW Street Warrior VS Al Papitto's 5.4 Powered Cobra. 9000 rpm N/A clutchless five speeds racing heads up! Both have run mid 9.50's in the past few weeks. This is going to be a blast!

Re: Modular VS Pushrod Match race.
That should be pretty cool. Pushrods have long held the displacement advantage. Do you have any details on pushrod car?

Re: Modular VS Pushrod Match race.
I would love to attend your show Mr Greene! Last year my car was in a million pieces.
Here's the results from the Ford power festival. We were both laughing... Racing on a full tree. Something we don't do. First pass. SW2 7615 .... .136 ................... .144 .... 1.355.................. 1.377 ..... 3.881.................. 3.958 ..... 6.02.................... 6.14 ...... 113.67................ 111.57 Jeremy drifted left a bit, My year old slicks really hurt the 60' We switched lanes.. I added 200 to the two step.. It spun worse ....7615 ................... SW2 ....... .053........................ .079 ........1.390...................... .1.33 ........3.94......................... 3.86 ........6.12........................ .6.01 ........112.51......................113.99 Jeremy got me again! That was it for the Match race. I entered Super Pro. Dialed ..what else 6.12. Ran 6.12/113.22 Then broke out with 6.116/112.80 It was great fun racing Jeremy. He ( and the entire UPR crew have played a big part in my car from the begining) I ran the car exactly like it was set up in Bowling green. My tires are dead.. I really saw no point in spending $400 on tires only to let it sit until spring. So 5200 rpm launch and 7100 shift point. I'm in great shape to race the 6.0 index outlaw races next season. The Carb 5.4 has 61 passes and 17 dyno runs. It just keeps getting stronger. The car ran 9.92/135 in Bradenton. It ran 9.55/140 Banging on the 8600 rpm limiter 40 feet from the finish line in Bowling green. I have more sorting to do...I believe it will run 9.40/143 at 3000 pounds without beating it to death

Re: Modular VS Pushrod Match race.
You use a clutch to launch from what I understand, but it does not require the clutch for shifts...
