I have no clue where everyone has gone to.. Some people have sold their cars, some are working on them, some I guess just don't care about the shoot out anymore.

Still here, just a lot going on over the past 1 1/2 years. I won't be at the shoot out but I'll try to keep in touch more often, at least more than once a year... :-)

Mach1w/Shaker - I still have your tires. Give me a call to arrange pick up as I don't have your number to call you...

Brain won last year? What category? Fastest Mach with no hood, fenders, seats, etc...?

I've been staying busy with work and running after 3 kids. Between my 2 yr. old and 7 month old, they have caught every known cold, cough, sniffle, etc. possible. Once one gets it, it gets passed around the house between all 5 of us.

I still have my Mach and I get to drive it once an a while too... I'm not done with racing, just on hold for a while longer. With 3 kiddos now, its had me thinking about the safety equipment I don't have but I need to get before I hit the track again.

Even though it'll be a while before I race again, I do however have over a years worth of smack talk to dish out so I'll be dropping by here and there to stir things up.

How's Beth? Did you two ever tie the knot?

Who else from the gang is still around and / or any newbies?

Thats good to hear Patrick, Glad your keeping busy.. Beth is doing pretty good I guess, we were going to get married this year but I don' t see that ever happening now. I'll just leave it at that. I'm up in the Lewsville area all the time visiting my dad, I'll give you a call sometime and stop by if your not too busy. I live out in South Arlington now almost in Mansfield.

BTW Patrick if you are going to talk some smack you might want to get a little bit faster I wouldn't want to get dust on that pretty black Mach1 of yours..

Lucky and I are still around. Neither of us have our cars anymore - we both have motorcycles now. I'm a beginner - so I have a 250 which is perfect for me, while Lucky is an experienced rider and has a ZX14. That bike is crazy fast - it has more horse power than my Mazda Tribute.

Good to see you on here. Since the weather is finally getting nice, we all need to get together some time for old times sake. It would be great to see everyone again.

I have put the engine stuff on hold because I am buying a Yamaha FZ1 since my new wife Stacie and I will be moving to the Texas Hill Country in the next 2 months. We are buying a business out there and a motorcycle is more fun in the Hill Country than a drag car.

Cool Deal.. I still have a few things to dial in on my car.. I think I'm going to go to the track on Thursday for some shake down passes on the smaller pills, then put it back on the Dyno next week and really go through the tune.. Just because the A/F if running 11.0 doesn't mean every cylinder is getting the right amount of fuel/n20.. So I'm going to be checking all the plugs for signs of detonation and signs of going lean. Then I'm going to put some race fuel in it and run the big pills.

I don't know if I am going to be able to make it I caught the flew Friday night and I have been sicker then a dog ever since. I went to the doctor today and he said it has turned into (sp) Bronkidous and almost Pneumonia... So it doesn't look like a good week for me.. Sorry guys.. I was really looking forward to this event too.. But for now I'll just go back to bed and continue feeling like I'm going to die..
