Who Could Out Run A New Camaro Ss - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

We know our stock Mach 1's ones would get smoked! How about the folks that have Mach 1's that are modded with gears, turbos and super chargers??? Has to be street legal!

Under 350hp need not apply.

bla bla blaaaa..... Compare apples to apples dude. In 2009 or whenever the SS comes out it needs to be compared to a comparable 2009 Ford. We had the GTO to fight with in 03/04 and a 6 year newer car isn't a fair comparison....

It'll come out...and it's gonna have a 750hp V-6 and an 875 V-8 option...

Who knows what this thing's gonna be? Is it going to be 4,200 lbs. like the Challenger? Is it going to have a 5.7, a 6.0 or a 7.0? Why worry now? By the time these things finally hit the streets not only will be have a redesigned Mustang out there, we'll most likely have a new engine package to turn back the tide. Heck, it might be a bio-diesel hybrid econobox for all we know. If Audi can bypass the Lamborghini sourced V-10 for the new R8 and put in a 500hp diesel instead, we could see anything from the blow tie boys...

I don't see how it could be taken any other way. None of the big 3 will produce a 800+hp car for fear of big brother slappin their peepees'. The general public would not be able to afford a $150,000 Camaro.

I'm no more worried about this Camaro than I was the last one. One thing I will say, that thing is butt ugly!

It's the only pre-production car I've seen lately that actually looked BETTER with the cammo on it!!

I've said it before, and I'll repeat myself right here and now; At the worlds largest gathering of car nuts, the Woodward Dream Cruise, the new Camaro Concept was parked within 25 feet of the new Challenger Concept. The Challenger stopped traffic, the Camaro got them to speed off. It wasn't even a close call...

I just sold my camaro lol to a guy who does the R&D work for GM and needles to say enjoy the power wars because after 2010 they are over due to fuel prices ... can you say welcome back 1974,........ gas crunch sucks and it is comming
