stock piston replacements

hey guys im gonna replace the pistons on my mach but im having a bit of trouble finding out what kind of pistons the machs come with stock.. some people are telling me theyre forged and some say they arent... just need help finding somewhere i can purchase and if someone could educate me a little on our pistons.. thanks

All Mach's have cast hyperutectic pistons. The only 4.6 to have forged pistons was the '03-'04 Cobras

They are not forged.

I can give you a great deal on a set of forged pistons, that will come with new rings, pins and locks.

I hope you also plan to replace the rods as they are not forged and are arguably a weaker link than the stock pistons.

im acually just planning on using stock ones again.. im not really using the car too hard or abusing it its gonna be just a weekend cruiser..do you guys know what other models use the same pistons ..i heard the 99-01 cobras use the same ones.. and so do the gts but im not too sure..
