Mach 1 Ported Throttle Body
I recently sent a stock Throttle Body I bought for cheap to a gentleman on eBay that I have dealt with in the past. He charged me $63.00 shipped to port it. He does an awesome job. I will install it once I get my JLT RAI in. Pics dont do the product justice.
Stock: Ported:

Did he by any chance increase the diameter of the butterflies? It doesn't look like it. Looks good tho, hook me up with this guy through a pm if possible.

Re: Mach 1 Ported Throttle Body
I did this, but not so extreme when i was playing with mine. I just wanted to clean mine up/smooth it out. Ive contemplated going a little more aggressive but since it was my only TB, i decided i would Leave it be.
-really is no point to go crazy on it since the Butterflies are still whatever MM they came stock. It may be possible if you had a way of Honing out the TB evenly on both sides..would be a really fun project if i had an extra. -The screws are actually crimped on one end to keep them from coming loose, cutting them off is necessary. little thread lock will keep them settled down. Found my picture <---------- I can do the same thing cheaper if someone is willing

Re: Mach 1 Ported Throttle Body
I'd really like to see some dyno results. Might be another intake spacer type mod.

Re: Mach 1 Ported Throttle Body
Looks good but expect a 0 rwhp gain. Seeing how an accufab TB add 2-3rwhp to a bolt on combo the possibility of a ported stocker adding power is very slim.

Re: Mach 1 Ported Throttle Body
This is a big thing for LS1 fbodys .. guys would pick up between 5-10 rwhp on just porting the throttle body.. I had one in my cammed ws6
Definally something to do for the people who dont want the headache of an aftermarket TB ..

Re: Mach 1 Ported Throttle Body
Looks good. I did this and figured it couldn't hurt. But I did get the dreaded hanging idle, which was fixed by putting in an IAC restrictor plate.
