2012 impreza

i want to finally find a way to put the mach in a garage and let it rest (especially over the winters). went to a subaru dealer today to look at the 2012 impreza. i got lured in with the AWD and 36mpg. overall, nice little car, comfortable, nothing too fancy but enough to keep me interested.

anyone know someone that bought one and has some personal experience with it?

Re: 2012 impreza

2012 the regular impreza got completely revamped I believe, engine, suspension, and trans-wise. I know it got a new engine more fuel efficient engine at least, a variant of whats in the BRZ I believe.

Re: 2012 impreza

I've owned 10 Subaru's, always my 2nd car and go to work car, I have driven 30 miles 1 way to work for over 30 years. My 1st was 1977 wagon 4wd they have all been 4wd or awd and station wagon's.
once I bought them they never went back to the dealer they were great winter cars, however never got more then 28 mpg but that was OK for the time, my last 1 was a 2008.
My wife is a realtor and no one would pick up this guy at the air port from her office because it was snowing the wife sad I will she ended up selling him a million$$$$$$$ prroperty.
She loves Subaru's but now drives a Ford Fusion Hybrid.

Re: 2012 impreza

can't go wrong with the impreza. They hold their value unbelievably well too. At least the wrx and sti do, not so sure about the base model. A ton of fun to drive as well. I would try to find a used wrx as opposed to buying a base model, but hey thats just me
