I installed my new 4 valve!!!!!

I finally installed my engine into the Mach. Granted, their was nothing wrong with the stock longblock, I just wanted something more bulletproof. I contacted M1R member Roy a couple of years ago, and the process began. It started with a .030 over Teksid block. The block was line honed, bored and honed. He put in a forged Mach 1 crank that was polished and balanced. It has Manley H beam rods ( same as in the Cobra's) and Wiseco 11:1 pistons. I have nitride coated rings. Top gap is .020, second ring gap is .023. Ask Roy for the forging and ringland thickness. He then used ARP main and head studs. The cylinder heads are from an 04 mach 1 and have been bowl ported. The stock springs were shimmed .060" and has a 5 angle valve job. He installed my matched set of 96 Cobra cams. He also put in a Melling oil pump. I retained the stock oil pan and crank scraper and windage tray. I reinstalled my Roy's ported intake and intake spacer. Roy installed screw in Freeze plugs too. The installation was a breeze and The thing runs AMAZING!!!!! I'm sure a few of you might not like this next bit of info, but the cams ARE NOT degreed. Some might say I'm losing power, but I'm not here to argue. I AM here to say that if you want a quality job on your next project, Roy is the man. He has the BEST machine shop in his corner, and his Tech support is second to none. I have developed a good friendship with Roy over the past few years. He is the guy for your next build! Keep up the good work Roy!
