i just wanted to wish everyone a safe weekend, what ever your doing and also just before your weekend started to just take alittle time out to be thankful for all the big and small things in your life and don't take it for granted, you never know when it could be taken from you big or small. to me everyday is a blessing and even though i'm not a rich man by any means, i'm thankful to be in pretty good health, even though the body hurts everyday, having one good eye to see w/ having my own home i bought, the mach looking back from how far its come since i bought it, my boys being in good health and being able to provide for them.
i guess you say shelter, food, cloths
and one more thing i'm thinkful to be living in the United States, i love this country it has its probs, but i couldn't think any other place i rather live than here in the states.
God bless each and everyone of you and your family
and if you have a beer drink one for the soldiers who lost there lives for this country to make it what it is and all the things we have and for the men and women that serve our country.

Ash, Thanks, we all need to be reminded of what we have. You keep you chin up and keep moving on everyday, sometimes that is all we need to do.

Thank you for the post, as well as what you've given for all of the rest of us. We do tend to forget how good we really have it sometimes. It really is a great country (who else gets Mach 1's!?!).

i have to say i always try to remind myself to be thankful for the little things and the werid thing that happen was sometime w/in a week from when i got injury i said to myself be thankful for the little things, was kinda werid what happen to me after that, but it really got me thinking and now for sure i'm even more thankful for the little things
