question about mach sail panals? - 2003-04 Mach 1 Registry Owners Club

I did a search on the site guys and couldn't find anything........I'm wanting to do the mach sail
panels on my 03 cobra and was wondering if anyone knew if the quarter glass itself had to be changed or not? Also what about the interior trim panel are they the same are not??? Any help would be greatly appreciated guys!!!!

Should be a different glass since the black outer trim follows the c-pillar contour. Probably the same for the interior, but I've never really looked at them that closely.

The interior panel doesn't need changed, just the glass and sail panel. You don't have to change the glass with the swap, but the dot matrix won't line up if you decide to not change out the glass as well.

The interior panel does contour to the glass, so it probably different as well. Remember, this feature was lifted from the first gen Bullitt, so there are other cars it fits.

Nah. The interior part is the same. The glass doesn't have to be changed but like stated, the "dot matrix" printed on the glass isn't the same and will stand out. Mine is like this and most people don't notice.

I'm going to install the panels and see how noticeable the dot matrix is on the glass. I'm going all out on my cobra so that detail may bug me, anyone swapped the glass out before? What's involved?
