Mod Mafia Performance Built Naturally Aspirated Pump Gas 284CI 4V

Long time no post all but you guys will like this! We are not done yet with it. Pulled until the ignition cut but its still climbing
This is on 93 Octane only 284ci all motor Mach1
Built and tuned in house by us! Ignition parts on order so we can finish this thing up and rev it to its true peak rpm! Gonna be interesting to say the least
ENJOY!

Ok makes sense, I see the crossover lines and the cap, also the threaded insert I guess to "burp" system, that is a trick piece but with a ProCharger definetly wouldn't go there .Is that what you are doing to get rid of the freakin hose that comes up the middle??

I see also the way they ran the catch can the intake port must be capped, I like the way passenger side on one side and PCV on the other, wonder how good it works running that way.

The one line that is coming out of throttle pipe under passenger grommet hose, wonder what that is for and where it goes? It is on top of alt but can't really see where it ends up. Lot to see here.

I've never had issues running a catch can system like that on my car.

That hose just connects to the tb and runs across to connect to the IAC valve. On our stock cars it is behind the motor.

Do you get good amount oil in it? What is the theory that when PCV opens it draws a vacuum sucking out passenger side as well?

Would be more than happy. BTW, this isn't a dedicated N/A setup. It's a nitrous motor with 400 gram pistons, big ring gaps, and no low tension oil rings in sight.

Re: Mod Mafia Performance Built Naturally Aspirated Pump Gas 284CI 4V

I'd like to have a motor simular to this, and run a fr500 short runner intake.... And pull to 7200 rpms.
What kind of coiin would a c head motor like this cost?

Re: Mod Mafia Performance Built Naturally Aspirated Pump Gas 284CI 4V

To really take advantage of the FR500 you going to have to go higher then 7200, this motor prolly going to be shifted between 8300-8500rpms

Re: Mod Mafia Performance Built Naturally Aspirated Pump Gas 284CI 4V

We have the dyno sheets and videos up on our facebook page.. https://www.facebook.com/Modmafiaperformance She made 494rwhp/368rwqt on straight 93 pump gas. Should be back on the dyno with new fuel system and E85 in a week or two.. We are using the 2004 Mach PCM to control fuel and the MSD MOD6 to control ignition.. We dont get on here to often so if anyone has any questions feel free to message us on our facebook page.. Thanks
