Opinions on new wheels
Need to get some new wheels for my mach. Currently sporting black FR500s in 18x9/18x10 configuration
Im thinking about getting away from the FR500s and trying something different. Any opinions on these from AMR? Current setup: AMR: Opinions or recommendations would be helpful. Thanks in advance for your input

Re: Opinions on new wheels
Those are essentially the same wheels I have - just I have the LMR version. I like them - I too made the jump from FR500 to the Drift or whatever AMR calls them.

Re: Opinions on new wheels
Here is a quick photoshop. The charcoal amrs are awesome! I vote yes. Unless you are planning on black, then I vote no.

Re: Opinions on new wheels
I'm with him. The design isn't a drastic change from the FR500's.

Re: Opinions on new wheels
I prefer the deep dish staggered look. Can't tell if that's what you have in the FR500's but if not, think about getting deep dish rears!

Re: Opinions on new wheels
Yup. Deep dish here too, but with a silver lip. Not a fan of solid black. I however like the style of the wheels.

* note: I'm planning on going back to anthracite fr500s at some point. I like the deep dish more.

Re: Opinions on new wheels
Thanks for the replies everyone! And vertigyn, awesome looking car.
Im actually replacing the FR500s because the PA roads have not been good to them. Two are bent (the whole wheel is out of round) and one caught an accidental curb rash.. They were originally black chrome and the finish began peeling. I had them all powder coated black. So any replacement requires a re-finish to match (and likely all 4 to be re-done) Its actually more time and cost effective to replace all four. After seeing vertigyn's car, I'm going for them... And yes, charcoal for sure Ill be sure to post some pics once theyre installed and the weather improves

Re: Opinions on new wheels
For me, black hands down! I can't stand the look of grey/charcoal/anthracite, it's just too stock for me

Re: Opinions on new wheels
Wish you lived closer to me, would love to take those wheels off your hands when you do decide to go back to fr500s

IMO, the black wheels don't show enough detail to my tastes. I think I like these AMR's better than the black FR500' though.

I think I would do charcoal. Black is trendy and ok, but unless the lighting isn't right, they just look like a black void. Charcoal will make the wheel pop more and the spokes/details more apparent.
Thanks for all the compliments guys

Re: Opinions on new wheels
Just got a set of amr dark stainless wheels. 285/35/18 is not big enough for 18x10 wheel but is what they recommend. 275/35/18 on a 18x9 wheels fit good.
