My Mach 1 up on Mt. Evans

Took the Mach 1 up to the top of Mt. Evans today. 14,271 ft above sea level. The Stang wanted some play time, so she got just that.

I do have a gropro vid, but it will have to wait till next week. My internet sucks here at my apartment, so next Monday I'll have to go to the library and upload it. Got a vid of the drive up and the drive down. 1080p HD too with full audio.

When I got to the top it was thundering, lightning, hailing, sleeting, snowing and raining all at once, it was crazy. I brought my chamois with me so after it stopped I was able to dry the Mach off for the pics.

Here's pics of the photoshoot.

I also saw a few bighorn sheep (these were adolescents as the mature Bighorns have their horns completely curled a couple times) on the way up and again coming back down.

Nice hi res shots! Some of those are wallpaper material. Rain, sleet, snow, hail and lightning all at once? That would've been awesome, provided the hail was tiny.
