What type ECM do we have?
I am trying to do a datalog with my dinosaur XCal 2 (that I love), and it wants to know what ECM type I have using LiveLink 6.5. I have an 04' auto mach. My choices are:
88K EEC-V 112KEEC-V 216K EEC-V 1472K Black Oak SPC 1472K Black Oak CAN 1024K Spanish Oak 1024K PTEC 448K Black Oak 512K Black Oak Do any of you know which one I have?

not a ton of help but its one of the first 3. I would guess the 216 as I was pretty sure the Black Oak came out on the 05 mustang

I found this while searching http://www.sctflash.com/software/Con...atalogging.pdf and looking at other sites, it looks like it has the 216 EEC-V as DSG2003Mach1 mentioned.

Oops, I'm an old military aviator and "ECM" meant something different to me. I'm running a Valentine V1 for smooth and fast running. (LOL)

open the passenger side door and look at the door side of where the door jamb meets the door. should be a sticker there with a code on it to help you id the ECM. it wont be on the jamb part, it will either be on the end of the door or the bottom of the door. hope that helps.
