that would be nice except the screws are stainless not aluminum and cannot be anodized or blackened.

maybe when installed they can be blackened with a black paint pen or something.

You can use a Black Permanent Marker or a Hobby Black Paint stick...works great for touch-ups and stuff!!

Chrome

George,

I would prefer a chrome frame, so it ties in with the chrome exhaust pipes. Also, I think chrome goes better with the different colored license plates and their lettering (not to mention the bolts). Also, I like the Mach1 logo at the top, but would rather see the running pony on the bottom. The latter, is just my opinion.

Please let me know if you decide to make the frames in chrome, so I can purchase one.

Thanx
Steve

I noticed their the anti-theft screws too.

I recommend powder coating them a satin black. I do my own, and the satin is killer, and it dont show finger prints!

I guess your not doing a polished frame?

GOOD CONCEPT PLATE BUT THE MACH1 SHOULD BE ON THE BOTTOM AND BE IN BIG LETTERS / THE WAY IT IS NOW THE MACH1 LOOKS ALL BUNCHED UP/ THE LARGE MUSTANG ON THE BOTTOM IS REDUNDANT TO THE MUSTANG IN THE BUMPER. PUT THE YEAR 2003 ON THE TOP AND MACH1 ON THE BOTTOM AND YES WE NEED CHROME!

the mach1 logo is actually not bunched up but the exact factroy logo. if you look closely it is actually larger than the bottom letters. the height of the top area is more than the height of the bottom. if you put just mach 1 at the bottom it would not look as good because it would be way too narrow left to right. if we spread out the letters then it would not be the factory licensed logo.

i will end of doing chrome plates though . maybe i will try some other designs. i really like this one though

George I like the black one aswell. I think I will be getting two.

:OFFTOPIC:

Anyone know what I can put in the hole for my antenna after I remove it. I take it off for the car cover and I don't want water to freeze in there. Ideas would be nice.

If you cover the car how will water get in there???? I used a cover on my 01 and never filled the hole and never had a problem. I don't think you need to be concerned.

Antenna

YOu should just be able to unscrew the rod and leave the bottom assembly in the fender? !

How about a key chain

The plate looks great and defintely going to have to get one.

How about a key chain. I was thinking something like the emblem on the back of the Mach1 in billet aluminum and attached to a chain and the the key ring. Is this possible???

Similar to the ones shown here: http://www.50resto.com/acb/showdetl....=1794&CATID=44
