Talking Another Mach 1 hits the road in NY!

After a half year wait, we picked up our new Mach 1 yesterday afternoon. I took a half day so we could drive it around and boy were we impressed. I had pretty high expectations based on everyone's comments, and I'm pleased to say that it met (and exceeded) them all!

I also have a question: Does anyone know why Ford installed a black styrofoam block that blocks air inlets at the bottom of the rear bumper? I checked all the other Mustangs at the dealership and they were the same way.

Thanks to all members for making this site an invaluable resource for information about the Mach 1 and your experiences driving them!

Looks

they are probably for Looks and probably bumper support in a rear end crash. The slots are probably for appearance only, serve no real function.
