anybody roll their fenders?
Has anyone had any experience with rolling their fenders in the back so the tires don't hit? Any suggestions on where to take the car to have this done? I would rather not try it myself as I don't want to chance anything.

Re: anybody roll their fenders?
Mach1Chris - Did rolling your fenders cause them to flare out at all? I cant exactly tell with the angle of the pics.

Re: anybody roll their fenders?
Not that I can notice, no. You CAN use the tool to flare the fenders if you put enough horizontal pressure once the lip is rolled. But once the lip was rolled, i stopped. If they did flare, it isn't noticible....

Re: anybody roll their fenders?
I didn't think that it did. Your car looks great and I need to do the same thing to mine. Did you have the same problems as me with the 10.5's? The outer edge of the tire is getting cut barely by the fender. Mine is only doing it on the left side though. I think it is because I have an airbag inside my right coil and it is stopping the suspension from compressing to the point where it hits the fender lip. Im debating on doing the same thig as you and purchasing one and renting it out. Im trying to find someone who will rent me one at areasonable price in my area. Also, if you dont mind me asking, how are you going about renting it out. Do you charge $50 and have the renter sign a contract of some sort or just have them put down like a $250 refundable deposit? Or are you just renting it out to your friends or people you trust that you know will return it?
AF24 - Sorry if i'm hijacking your thread or asking questions that dont pertain to you post. I'm just kind of in the same boat as you are.

Re: anybody roll their fenders?
Mine were worse then yours.... the lip was gouging out the tires.. had to replace them.
check out www.rollyourfender.com .. that guy rents out in the US... I rent mine out locally through the local mustang club. I don't make them sign anything, but if they break the tool up they dont get their $$ back and they know that They give me $400CDN and when they return it I give them $350 back. The people so far who have rented it are active in the club or atleast somewhat active... if they dont return it.. they bought it
