Re: Anyone left

I'm not from Canada, but I do have a Canadian Mach  ....does anyone have the official numbers on Canadian Mach's??? I know a few things have set mine apart from others at cruise-in's a little bit: daytime running lights, engine block heater, french warnings on sun visors  , and I'm sure there's a few other things I'm forgetting.

Cool! Were there any other features to the Canadian Mach's that I left out? Also, what kind of numbers are you putting down? Our mod list is almost the same and I'm going to be getting a tune within the next few weeks.

I'm still here...I'm from Oakville, Ontario which is just west of Toronto... my Mach has only 12,000km and is only a toy for me, it's driven from May - Oct on dry sunny days and never seen rain... I bought it new at 0% financing for 60 months and have a little less than 2 years owing.

Is the speedo still in KPH ? if so there is another Canadian item to set yours apart from the American Mach's.

Re: Anyone left

Hi there.
East end of Toronto.
We live near the Guild Inn.

One noticable difference between Canadian & US built Mach's is the speedo.
The KM are on top and the mph are below.
DLM is another. (as mentioned above)

Yes the french writing as well.
Which brings me to a question.
If French is an official language in Canada, what does that do to all the other languages (j/k)
Not offical, legal etc etc.

I was told 10% of the Machs were built for Canada.

I picked up my Mach June 13, 2003 with 32.1 kms on the OD.
pics in the sig below. 'Some pics' I have pics the day I picked my baby up.(my 1st ever brand new car)
Tho, Rowland Ford where I bought from, is now gone.

K Pony; any plans on the Mach1 reunion at Carlisle June 1 - 3, 2007?

Re: Anyone left

I ordered mine in Oct 02. It was built Dec 6 and I took delivery Dec 20/02. Also never driven in rain or anything worse.

There is no official word from Ford on the number of Mach 1s built for Canadian sale. I believe they could tell us if they wanted to, but...

Re: Anyone left

I'm in Ottawa. There are 2 other Mach1 owners in town that I know off, and one of the Ford dealerships has an Azure Blue with about 30k kms, and they are asking for $21k

I picked up mine Nov. '05 for $22, with 6600km.

Re: Anyone left

Calgary here. Torch red '03 with 42,000km. There are a few I've seen around, but you don't see them very often. I have heard that 10% of production typically comes to Canada as well, so I guess that means about 900 for '03? This is the first winter that I am driving mine, but our winters are pretty mild so it's not too bad.
