Having trouble finding a part I dont know what to call...
I am trying to find the honey-comb inserts that go inside these side scoops as the guy who owned my car before put chrome ones in. I took them off only to find he didn't just tape them over the oem ones, but pulled them out to put in the bling bling.

Re: Having trouble finding a part I dont know what to call...
You should be able to get them through Ford if you want new ones, or you can go to a salvage yard and get used ones. They are not unique to the Mach 1, and were used on any post '99 Mustang with the wide side scoops ('99 Anniv. car, or '01-'04 GT or regular Mustang. Only the '03/'04 Cobra used a differently textured scoop insert).

Re: Having trouble finding a part I dont know what to call...
Side scoop inserts for a Cobra USED to be in the FRPP catalog.
Part number was M-6327938-SC46 The number in "bold" type should be the basic part number (or close to it) and still available from Ford. Maybe PM member Itlrun and he can hook you up.

You mean you don't have one of these?
![]() I swear I could find my long lost virginity on eBay. Insert is called a "Boot" Cobra #'s 2R3Z 63279D38 AAA RH 2R3Z 63279D39 AAA LH GT#'s 1R3Z 63279D38 AAB RH 1R3Z 63279D39 AAB LH Scoop is called a "Panel" I believe the "Total Performance Package" is for Cobras, and GT & Mach's share the second set of numbers...Check with Bubba at your local Ford dealer.
