from a pm i got today:

"My girlfriend was diagnosed with advanced cancer last week. She goes into surgery Tuesday May 22nd .

She is 40 yrs old, never smoked and stays in great condition. I just can't believe she has this crap, it should be me! Her parents came in from Michigan and are staying with us until she is out of the hospital".

i edited out specifics out of respect, but you get the general idea. lets all show our thoughts , concerns and support, as we all know that behind every great man is a great woman.

thoughts and prayers for ya buddy....my dad lost his mom to cancer when he was 16...she was only 36....lung cancer at that...never smoked in her life. Just keep strong and pray.

I will pray for her. I lost my Mom and Dad to cancer. I had prostate cancer surgery three years ago. No fun.

My prayers are with you and your family Phil's G/F.

I know many cancer survivors. My mom, dad, great Aunt, 3 aunts, a friend with non-hog. and my sons friends mom was just diagnost with stage 3 cancer. She is fighting it full force. It is exhausting but she is a fighter and a half. Its only been 6 months for her since she found out her diagnosis.

Stay strong Phil. This might be a long journey. We will all pray for ya'll every night.
