1/4 time good or bad
i have a 5-speed running jba shorty, o/r h, bassani cat back, nitto DR, steeda cai, steeda shifter. my best time was a 13.045, to me this isn't very good, what do ya'll thank. i'm not the best driver in the world but i don't suck. i'm a good driver, go once a year to the track. i just think with the mods i have i should be in the 12's

Re: 1/4 time good or bad
that ain't bad man. take it easy on yourself....your in hotass TX! Give it seat time and keep track of what works better like launching styles and shift points. you're close enough I think a 12 is around the corner.

Re: 1/4 time good or bad
I feel ya. If it makes ya feel any better...when my car was stock I went from 14s to 13.3s from my 1st to 2nd trip to the track. As is the case with most people. It really is about finding a groove, which is hard for some, including myself, if trips to the track are few and far between.

Re: 1/4 time good or bad
thats not that bad. i just put the p1sc on my o3 mach and im getting 440 rwhp ( tuned down for the heat- i live in granbury ) and friday night i ran a best 11.94 @ 115. before the procharger my best was 12.97 and all i had was exhaust and cai. think i will get in the mid 11s with more time getting used to the extra power. your gonna love the procharger!

Re: 1/4 time good or bad
Could be worse I race at Bristol, TN and we've got higher elevation. I've got a ram air, x-pipe, and short shifter and can barely get a 13.8...

Re: 1/4 time good or bad
i guess i'll take it that running low 13's aren't bad for the mods i got. but when i get my p-1sc i better run 11's

Re: 1/4 time good or bad
I don't think that time is very good, but there are so many weather factors and traction issues.
The track seems easy but so many factors to a good time.

Re: 1/4 time good or bad
Work on your 60' times. With a sub 2 second 60' time you should be running in the 12's.

Re: 1/4 time good or bad
I think it's a good time. You're right there at the 12s. Close enough to be a nose hair.
