I have an 04 mach and 11 gt/cs vert. They are different cars in how the ride, drive, etc. The 5.0 is smooth. The mach is smaller; and feels more nimble. I get a little better mpg driving to work...

I expect backspacing is important as you go this wide on the front. I saw a 01 cobra with 9.5" ARE TT2 wheels on the front. They did stick out some.

You shift to keep the motor in its powerband so changing gears doesn't effect that. You just go through the powerband quicker. If you're still running the 3650 trans, try 6800 1-2, 6500 2-3, 6200...

FYI -- I dyno'd mine with and without the screen; about 20 min apart; the runs were within 1hp.......on a 300rwhp car the screen didn't impede power.
